3 Quick Changes to Clean Up Your Diet

Are you tired of not knowing what to do to clean up that diet?!

I get it! There is SO much information out there. So I want to simplify it today for you with these 3 quick changes you can make to clean up your diet.

  1. First and foremost, begin by ELIMINATING all soda, juice and any other sugary drink - and that includes all those yummy lattes. You heard me friends, all of these things are PACKED full of added sugar which will find it's rest around your mid section. And don't let the "100% juice" fool you, you need to eliminate that as well because I promise you there are most likely added ingredients that could be making you hold on to unwanted fat.
  2. Next try to cut back on processed foods. This is hard, I get it, but a rule of thumb I like to use when choosing food is asking myself "did it come from the ground or did it come from a mother?". Asking yourself this question will help you determine if it is a WHOLE food. And if you can stick to whole food nutrition, I promise you will start to see results.
  3. Meal plan, at least your dinners. If you can get in a habit of planning out your dinners for the week and making sure you have all the ingredients on hand to make them, you will be less likely to make poor choices. Nothing is worse then getting off work and coming home to "figure out dinner". You're tired. You're stressed. And the last thing you want to do is stand there with the refrigerator door open trying to figure out what's for dinner. So try pre-planning your dinners for the week each Sunday, and see how you do!

I hope that these 3 simple things can have you making better choices with your nutrition. If you would like further guidance on how to follow a whole food nutrition diet, please check out my FASTer Way to Fat Loss bootcamp here! I would love to help.
