Stop the Quick Fixes

So here’s the deal…

There are no such thing as a quick fix.

There is no magic pill.

There is no magic drink.

You have to stop the quick fix mindset when it comes to your health.

Trust me ladies, I know this from personal experience.

I didn’t start my health and fitness journey until after I had three babies in 4 years. My body was overweight, tired, and depleted. I had tried EVERY quick fix out there!

Yes, I was the one sitting at home watching TV with a bag of cookies, watching the infomercial on the latest and greatest workout program, pill, shake or whatever it was. And yes, I was the one who BOUGHT everything. No joke girl, I purchased every single thing that I thought would work to get me to lose the weight. I joined Weight Watchers, I did Beachbody programs, I drank shake after shake in hopes it would fix me QUICKLY.

It wasn’t until I found strength training that I actually fell in love with the PROCESS and the JOURNEY of changing my lifestyle. I finally realized that there is NO QUICK FIX and in order to see results, I had to change my mindset around it.

Once that change happened, I finally began to see the results I so desperately wanted. I lost weight, I gained strength, and for once in my life I felt energized and CONFIDENT.

Now, about 6 years later, I have made it my mission to teach women this very thing and offer a solution to their quick-fix mindset!

Here is why the so called “Quick Fix” diets don’t work and will only lead to a sense of failure:

  1. PERMANENT results come from PERMANENT change in your lifestyle. Yes, you may be able to lose 20 lbs going on a low carb diet… but can you really ensure you won’t eat carbs the rest of your life? If you haven’t reset your metabolism to be able to handle carbs at the right time, then the second you add them back in, you will see the pounds start creeping back on.

  2. The quick fix diet is too DRASTIC. All of these things guaranteed to get you to drop weight within the first week are TOO DRASTIC and not healthy for your body. Do you really think your body was made to live on shakes? NO! Friends, trust me when I say, you need REAL FOOD and you can see results with real food. Stop the quick fix shakes!

  3. Weight that comes off FAST is more likely to be put back on just as FAST. Remember, when you are looking to lose weight and sustain this weight loss, the faster it comes off, the faster it will come back on if you are not careful. I tell my clients that the slower the weight loss (1-2 lbs per week) the HEALTHIER they are and the more likely they are to keep it off for the long haul.
