3 Ingredient "Melt In Your Mouth" Protein Cookies
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]So it's fall again... that time of year that we all crave those freshly baked cookies and treats... actually who am I joking - that is year long for me! But it gets worse when the weather turns and the crisp, cool air makes me crave something warm and fresh out of the oven. This is typically when I start to make poor choices with my "treats". But this year, I have found a recipe of only a few ingredients for protein cookies that are truly AMAZING! This recipe was adapted from jazzythings.com (who is absolutely wonderful with healthy dishes - check her out!). As a mom, I am always looking for "healthy" treats for both me and my kids. But oh so often my kids stick their noses up at what I make! Well not this time!
1 ripe banana (if not ripe, then microwave for 45 seconds) 1 cup natural peanut butter 4 scoops of NLA for Her Vanilla Cupcake Protein Powder 1 TBSP water to make the consistency perfect
Mix all ingredients together making a sticky batter. Roll in to 12 small balls and place on baking sheet (I use parchment paper on top of my cookie sheet). Bake for 12 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool for 20 minutes and enjoy with some almond milk!
I was actually shocked that my kids gobbled these down without hesitation... even when I said "these are healthy protein cookies". They are DELICIOUS!
