MY EXPERIENCE WITH THERMAGE® RADIOFREQUENCY TREATMENT

THIS CONVERSATION IS SPONSORED BY SOLTA MEDICAL

I am so excited today to fill you in about my experience with Thermage® radiofrequency system treatment. When given the opportunity to have this skin tightening treatment, I was all in! You ladies know full well, I am all about self-love and loving the skin you’re in, however, if there is something out there that can help tighten this mama’s midsection skin, sign me up! Having three babies within four years definitely wreaked havoc on my poor skin.

I love the thought of skin care being similar to your health and fitness - prevention is key. Am I right? Absolutely. However, as we age, many of us start noticing those wrinkles, fine lines, saggy skin, etc. For me, it happened due to the stretching of pregnancies along with aging (but come on now… I’m only 35).

Thermage® is a global leader in skin smoothing treatments and is a non-invasive radiofrequency therapy. This heat gets deep enough into the skin layer where it can stimulate your body’s own collagen production and gives it a reboot, thus helping your skin start producing that collagen again and creating tighter, firmer skin.

Obviously, this is something that intrigues me! Who wouldn’t want to turn back the clock on aging skin by going to the root of the problem?

So about 4 weeks ago, I headed to Radiant Rejuvenation in Edmonds, WA to see Susan Cummins, ME. I have to admit, I was a bit nervous but Susan made me feel right at home! She began by going through any past medical history of mine and went into depth about explaining exactly what this procedure does. It was like a mini lesson in the production of skin cells - so cool!

During the appointment to discuss the Thermage treatment, single use tips are used for the radio frequency (which I love the single use aspect). This wand and small tip goes across your skin in a various pattern. Susan explained the whole process as she did it and answered any question I had. I felt completely comfortable and the procedure did not hurt in the slightest! There were a couple of times it got a bit warm, but nothing that was burning or that hurt. Everyone’s skin is different, but I had no side effects of the procedure except some AMAZING immediate results (as you can see).

The results come with time when you have Thermage® treatment done because it is stimulating your OWN cells to reproduce collagen. The full results can come within six months time, but as you can see, I had some very impressive immediate results.

My whole appointment took less than two hours and this was even with a larger area (my mid section) being done! Overall I was so impressed with the Thermage procedure as well as the staff at Radiant Rejuvenation. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family and I actually hope to go back for some different treatment areas!

If you’ve had this done, let me know! I would love to hear from you. Or if you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to ask. Please see my before/immediate/4 week results right here! I am beyond happy with these results!
