5 Things to Always Have in Your Gym Bag

As a gym owner, I basically live at the gym. So, there are a few things that I think are absolutely necessary during and after your workout to make it truly effective and enjoyable! Here are my 5 gym bag must haves:

Water bottle with BCAA’s

A sturdy water bottle is absolutely necessary during your workouts. This is my favorite water bottle by LuluLemon because it doesn’t leak, holds a ton and looks super cute! But, your water bottle needs more than just water for an amazing workout. Be sure to throw some BCAA’s into that water of yours. Start drinking just prior to your workout, drink them during your workout, then finish them off after completing your workout. This is my favorite brand of BCAA’s! 

Wireless headphones

Workouts are for working, right? Which is why wireless headphones are an absolute must. When I am working out, I am in the zone and want to stay there. The best way for me to do that is with a kick-butt playlist. But, I don’t want to be attached to my phone, so wireless headphones are a must. These are the kind I use. They block out all other sound, have some killer base, and look super cute! 

Dry Shampoo

I usually don’t have time to wash and style my hair after a workout, even when I shower, so dry shampoo is a necessity. This is the brand I use. It removes any greasy grossness from your hair, and gives you a little extra volume.

Lip Gloss

You know I love me some lippie goodness! Nothing makes your face look fresh like the right lip color. Whether you go full out lipstick or stick to a gloss, throwing something on after a workout will help you all of a sudden look super pulled together! This is my favorite stuff! 

Hydrating Lotion

Whether you shower or not, some yummy smelling lotion is a must have. My hands tend to get dry while working out, so I always lotion up. If you aren’t going to shower, I do highly recommend wiping down with a towel before applying lotion. I like a few different lotions, but this is the one that is always in my bag. 

*I know there are only supposed to be 5 things on this list...but make sure you throw some hair ties and a brush in your bag too. This needs no explanation, right?
