Apple Cinnamon Protein Cake
First off, this protein cake recipes comes from JazzyThings.com.... you HAVE to go follow JazzyThings.com for all of her amazing creations! It is absolute PERFECT for THANKSGIVING! I was trying to find a healthier option for dessert for Thanksgiving and stumbled upon this. I adapted the recipe a bit from the original recipe that JazzyThings had due to what I had on hand. This is what I came up with and I have to admit... it was VERY tasty!
APPLE CINNAMON PROTEIN CAKE
Ingredients 3 egg whites 1/8 cup coconut sugar 1/2 cup oat flour 4 scoops NLAforHer.com Vanilla Cupcake protein powder (use discount code JENNY20 on their website for 20% off all NLA products) 1.5 tsp cinnamon 4oz natural applesauce 1/3 cup water 1 apple
Directions Whisk together the egg whites and coconut sugar. Continue to whisk adding all the other ingredients. Pour in to a 9 inch cake pan and top with apple slices and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Bake at 350F for about 20 minutes.
