Use the Bench!

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Let’s face it, I do not see many people utilizing the bench at the gym. Maybe to sit on here and there, but that is it! It wasn't until I fully researched and studied weight training that I began to use it myself, and I really learned how useful it was. And now it’s one of my go to pieces of equipment.

What makes the bench great for any workout is that you don’t have to do anything special or know crazy moves, you just need to know how to adjust what you would normally do.

Take the circuit below. Push-ups, squats, tricep dips and v-sits. Everything that you can do without a bench, but when we add the bench in we’re adding in some difficulty and changing how gravity works on things. The bench is great for body-weight exercises, but also for adding a change into your free weights.

Below is a great bodyweight circuit that you can do on the bench at the gym, at the park or even at home.

Body Weight Bench Workout! 15 reps of each -- repeat circuit 3x
