This Beachbody Body Beast program has me working HARD! There is not a day that goes by that I don't have some sort of sore muscle group. Today my glutes, quads, and hamstrings are extremely sore. Sitting... ouch. Walking.... ouch. EVERYTHING.... ouch! I'm sure others can relate to this! Here are some things I have found to help with my delayed onset muscle soreness.
~ Taking amino acids immediately after workout ~ Stretching ~ Walking to help loosen up ~ Epsom salt bath ~ Heat/Ice alternating applications ~ And most of all, REST!
Muscles recovery during rest. So don't over exercise and think you will gain more from more working out... rest is important in the training process!
