What do you want to do when you grow up?

"What do you want to do when you grow up?" As kids, we are asked this all the time. I ask my own children this question almost weekly!  For me, my response was always "help people". And as a young kid I decided I wanted to be a teacher or social worker (although I did not know the term "social worker" at that point). Deep down, I knew I just wanted to help people. So I went to school and graduated with a degree in child development. I ended up getting in the social work field and continued on that path for 10 years eventually ending with my own social work/case management business. This was such a blessing for all those years and I enjoyed working with everyone I did. However, at this point in my life, I now can say that I have truly found my calling.

This week has been amazing. I began training an 18 year old who is so determined to be healthy going into adulthood, my 67 year old client continues to amaze me at her capabilities as well as all of my other clients who continue to work hard in the gym! I have also had the opportunity to meet with a few more women this week and discuss their goals and how we can work together to reach those goals. And above all that, my online clients who choose to workout at home through Beachbody programs, are reaching new levels in there health and fitness! I am so incredibly proud of every single one of them. I cannot describe the feeling that comes with being apart of the moment when somebody decides to change their life.

To my clients, I feel blessed to be apart of your journey to health and wellness! And I truly feel as I am able to help them... so "what do I want to do when I grow up?" .... I want to help people.
